Today three new limited edition products were realeased for you to earn. I really love the Party Pants set and can’t wait to get my hands on it. I’ll be putting an order in tonight to get that one before it runs out!
You may have come from Mel Pagano’s blog, and I bet you’ve already seen some awesome projects!
I’ve decided to show you a few different cards today, all using Sale-A-Bration items.
This first card is one of my favourites and actually CASEs one of the cards in the Sale-A-Bration brochure. It features the What I Love stamp set, the Botannical Gardens vellum stack and the sadly no longer available Perfectly Artistic designer paper stack. That’s what this Sale-A-Bration Halfway Happiness post is about, our halfway point marks when some of the limited edition products ended and new ones start. I haven’t got any of the new products to show you yet, but hopefully I’ll have them to show you next week! If you wanted to recreate this card you could use any other designer paper or even sponged cardstock to get a similar effect. I’ve also used the Lots of Labels framelits and some gold Stampin’ Emboss powder. I love this card and it’s going out to a special customer in the mail today!
This next one is a birthday card for a very special friend, also going out in the mail today. It’s little late, so I hope she doesn’t mind! I’ve decided to make a bigger effort to send out birthday cards this year. If you’d like one, please let me know and I’ll happily send you one in the mail! I’ll talk more about my plan for birthday cards in a new post soon.
I’ve used the What I Love set again for this card, because I just love it! I broke open my new Pretty Petals designer paper stack from the annual catalogue and thought this lower flower stamp was perfect to go with it. The sentiment comes from the Perfect Pairing Sale-A-Bration set and on the inside of the card I’ve stamped the matching Happy Birthday from the same set. If you look closely you’ll see that I’ve stamped the outline flower in Versamark on the card base. Then I went a little crazy with the new AWESOME Wink of Stella clear glitter pen. I’ll have to create a whole post on how much I love these new glitter pens, they are probably one of my new favourite things in the world. I just can’t stop glittering everything. I may have gone overboard on this card.
This card showcases the Memories in the Making Project Life Specialty Card Collection – wow that’s a mouthful! I knew I had to have this collection as soon as I saw it. It is so versatile! I used to be a scrapbooker, it’s how I got started in card making, but I haven’t done anything like that for a long time. I have no used any of our Project Life products yet, but I think I might just start in the next few months.
As you can see from this card, you can use our Project life card sets for so much more than memory keeping, though! I should have taken a before photo to show you exactly what cards I’ve used, but I was too quick for my own good! This card uses one of the larger cards and one of the smaller cards. I’ve used the geometric print that actually has a UV resist pattern on white card. I sponged it with Blushing Bride ink and the UV resist lines remain white, and then I cut it down. I love the effect! The other card I used was an printed acetate overly card. The white printed acetate heart is a great pair to the geometric print. I love that little tiny bit of the the new Watermelon Wonder Stitched Ribbon. A little accent of ribbon can go a long way. There’s only a tiny bit of stamping on this card, just the sentiment from the Botanicals for You Sale-A-Bration set.
From today we have three new limited time only products available for FREE with every $90 you spend. That’s right! If you spend $180 you get to choose TWO free products. Who doesn’t love freebies!
If you like what you see, I’d love for you to pop over to my online store and have a look at everything that’s on offer.
Next up is the gorgeous Simone Bartrum, I can’t wait to see what she’s created for us today!
